The Kolbe Wisdom™

The Kolbe Wisdom™ provides a unique approach to understanding and predicting workplace behaviour. The true measure of performance of one's skills and one's attitude is in the doing, the sole focus of the Kolbe assessments.

Our core vitality includes instinctive drivers that enable us to be productive, to do things. We are in fact "hard-wired" to strive to achieve in the way that suits us. This behaviour is known as conation. More than what we know and how we feel, conation provides that true measure of performance of one's skills and attitudes - the doing.

The Kolbe Wisdom™, from Kolbe Corp, is the world's most accepted conative measurement tool, having been in commercial use for over 30 years. Heartstone has been a Kolbe Certified Consultancy since 2004, trained to deliver and consult on all applications.

Kolbe has 3 main measurement instruments:

• Kolbe A™ Index - measures the Action Modes for the individual
• Kolbe B™ Index - measures the individual's perceptions of Action Modes required for the job they perform
• Kolbe C™ Index - measures the perceptions of the Action Modes preferred for the job from a third-party perspective (usually the manager of the jobholder)

An Efficiency Report provides a measure of the levels of internal strain and external tension being felt by the individual when having to work outside of his or her Modus Operandi (MO). Coaching reports outline what the manager can expect from this individual and assist with designing interventions to remove or cope with strain and tension.

The Kolbe Wisdom™ extends beyond individuals to provide comprehensive collaboration, communication and team management capability with:

• LEADERSHIP ANALYTICS™ reporting, providing full team analysis and suggested intervention / coaching tips.
• A To A COMPARISONS, providing direct one to one comparisons where employees or partners are paired
